About

This project began with a problem I experienced personally: understanding how pressure and weight transfer affect movement. As a golfer, I had experienced how difficult it can be to consistently control pressure during a swing, which made me interested in how technology could help people better understand their movement. As I developed the project, I also became interested in how similar pressure-related problems affect people with flat feet and can make everyday movement uncomfortable. What started as an idea for a device gradually became an opportunity to combine my interests in golf and problem-solving. I taught myself how to work with sensors, microcontrollers, and FlutterFlow while designing a system that could turn physical movement into useful information. More than just creating a product, this project taught me how to take a problem I personally understood, research it, experiment with possible solutions, and turn an idea into something tangible.

This project is a wearable pressure-monitoring system designed to help users better understand pressure and movement. The device uses Velostat pressure sensors and a Boron microcontroller to collect and process data, which is then connected to a mobile app. The system can analyze pressure patterns during activities such as walking and golf swings and provide feedback based on the collected data. The goal is to explore how wearable technology can be used to improve athletic performance while also supporting people who experience discomfort from flat feet.
